Palmer Advisory B.V. is the controller for this website. If you contact us, we use your details to reply and manage our relationship. We run the site on Squarespace and use essential cookies; with your consent we use Squarespace Analytics for aggregate usage statistics. We keep data only as long as needed, use trusted processors under contract, and do not sell personal data. Details follow below.

What we collect

  • Contact details and the content of your message when you reach out.

  • Basic technical information supplied by your browser (e.g., IP, device, pages viewed) as needed to operate and secure the site.

Cookies & analytics (consent-based)

We use essential cookies to run the site. With your permission, we also use Squarespace Analytics to understand overall site usage. Analytics set cookies that collect aggregate data such as page views, referring pages, device/browser type, approximate location, and timestamps. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and we do not build visitor profiles.

  • Legal basis: Your consent for analytics; legitimate interests for essential cookies and security.

  • How to control: You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice later via “Cookie Settings” (or by clearing cookies in your browser).

  • Retention: Analytics cookies persist for a limited period (typically months, up to two years depending on the cookie). If you withdraw consent, analytics cookies will no longer be set.

How and why we use it

  • To reply to inquiries and provide services (legitimate interests; where relevant, contract or consent).

  • To operate, secure, and improve the website (legitimate interests).

Service providers

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which also provides the optional analytics described above. Squarespace processes data on our behalf under data-processing terms. We also use reputable vendors for email and related services. Providers may only process data on our instructions.

Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, after which we delete or anonymize it.

International transfers

If data is stored or accessed outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, restrict/object, and receive a copy of your data. To exercise rights or ask questions, email privacy@palmeradvisory.nl. You can also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local authority.
